Your profile picture accompanies your message when you e-mail another person.It is important that your profile picture is up-to-date and taken with a decent camera, especially when e-mailing important people such as potential employers.
Step 1: Go to your Gmail account.
Step 2: The gear button can be found in the upper right corner.
There should be a drop down menu.
Step 3: Click on settings.
Step 4: Go to the My picture section.
Step 5: Click the picture to change it.
Step 6: Click the file you want to choose.
Click No Picture and then apply changes if you want to remove your current profile picture.
Step 7: Click on the image you want to open.
Step 8: If you want, crop the image.
Step 9: Click on the change you want to apply.
Step 10: You will be brought back to the settings menu when your profile picture is changed.
