People don't like a dirty ceramic stovetop. It's easy to clean your ceramic stovetop.Take a large dish rag and soak it in warm, soapy water.Lay it over the baking soda.Allow it to sit for 15 minutes, then wipe the stovetop with a damp rag.If you want to clean burnt food, mix a paste of water and baking soda, apply it to the stovetop, and let it sit for 30 minutes before wiping it away.
Step 1: Baking soda can be put over the stove.
You don't need to measure the amount of baking soda you use.You can lightly coat the area of the stovetop you want to clean by opening the lid of your baking soda container.Baking soda should be applied to your stovetop if it is dirty.Baking soda can be sprinkled from old parmesan cheese containers.Similar containers with holes punched through them are also useful. If you have a container, fill it with baking soda. The container has baking soda in it.Some people choose to spray the baking soda with a spray bottle filled with vinegar in order to make it even more effective. You don't need to measure the amount of vinegar you spray over the area you've coated with baking soda.To get the baking soda bubbling, just spray a light coat.
Step 2: Put the rag in the soapy water.
The dishrag should be placed in hot, soapy water. The rag should be large enough to cover the entire area.
Step 3: The baking soda should be placed over the rag.
The rag needs to be removed from the soapy water.Wring it out.It should be wet.The rag should be placed over the baking soda on the stove.Wait 15 minutes. If you want to clean the whole surface of the stove top, use a rag that covers the entire surface or a series of smaller rags.
Step 4: The baking soda should be wiped away.
You can wipe the stovetop once you let the dishrag sit on the stove for 15 minutes. You can clean the area where you applied the baking soda by moving it in a circle.Once you have scrubbed the ceramic stovetop thoroughly, use a damp sponge or another damp dishcloth to clean the remaining baking soda from the stovetop.Allow it to air-dry.You could wear gloves during the wiping stage.
Step 5: As soon as possible, clean spills.
It will be harder to get rid of something if you don't clean it up immediately. If you leave a spill on the ceramic stovetop for too long, you risk burning it next time.As soon as possible, clean your stove top.If you spill something while using the stove, wait until it has cooled before wiping it up.If you don't, you might burn yourself.
Step 6: Don't use ammonia-based cleaners.
Light dirt and fingerprints from ceramic stovetops can't be cleaned with an ammonia/water mix or a cleaning product formulated with ammonia. It is possible to cause iridescent stains on the surface.Don't use abrasive cleaning products. The ceramic stovetop can be damaged by chemical cleaners.Don't use these products.Steel wool and abrasive pads can scratch the ceramic stovetop.
Step 7: Rub the stain with a spatula.
The spatula should be moved around the stain. The debris that forms the stain will be loosened.
Step 8: You can make a baking soda paste.
Baking soda and water should be mixed together. You can apply the baking soda with a sponge. The area should be covered with a rag.Wait 30 minutes.
Step 9: The area should be wiped clean.
After 30 minutes, use a damp sponge or cloth to clean the area.If the stain is not gone, try again with the baking soda paste and damp cloth.A microfiber cloth is the best cloth to use to clean the area. These cloths are designed with more fibers than a normal cloth, which means they can absorb more debris than regular cloths.
Step 10: Use a magic tool.
A magic eraser is a sponge. It can clean surfaces that are impossible to clean with normal methods.Baking soda and razor scraper cleaning solutions can cause your ceramic stovetop to resist. You can get a magic eraser at a grocery store.
Step 11: There is a specially-formulated cleaning product.
Ceramic stovetops can be cleaned with a number of products. Two specialized ceramic cooktop cleaners are Cerama Bryte and Cook Top.The instructions for use of each cleaning product are slightly different. After spraying or sprinkling your stovetop with the specially-formulated cleaning agent, you can wipe the surface with a damp rag or sponge.Grease stains and burned-on material can be cut through these products.
Step 12: Remaining debris should be removed.
If the ceramic stovetop is still not clean after wiping it down with baking soda and a damp rag, use a razor scraper to remove the debris.A razor scraper is a small tool consisting of a handle and a razor blade.Keep the blade and handle as close to the surface of the ceramic stovetop as possible. To clean the stovetop, use a damp, soapy sponge and a razor scraper. If you move the blade in a direction that runs parallel to it, you will scratch the surface of the stove. The blade should be moved in a direction that is parallel to it.It's a last resort to clean the stovetop with a razor scraper.
