You can always get rid of your account if you decide you don't like it.Follow the process from the beginning.
Step 1: You can open up Goodreads.
You can close the account by logging into it.
Step 2: Go to the top right corner of the page and look for a drop-down arrow next to your profile picture.
You could be asked to sign in again.Don't fret.Click the "Confirm" button if you log in with your Goodreads credentials again.If you haven't checked your settings in a while, this is done.
Step 3: The settings tab is next to the default tab.
Step 4: Click on the "Delete my account" link at the bottom of the page.
Step 5: You should review the information on what will happen after you uninstall your account.
Deleting your account will remove all the associated content, including the ratings and reviews you've posted.You don't need to worry about "keeping all my discussion posts", as these posts become anonymous and any discussion they've created or replied to should stay for continuity with the discussion.
Step 6: The account can be deleted with the "Delete My Account" button.
Step 7: Agree to the dialog boxes.
You can close the account by clicking OK.
Step 8: Give the browser a bit of time.
When your account is closed, the browser will return you to the home page.
