You can learn how to connect a controller like the DUALSHOCK 4® and an Xbox Wireless Controller to your phone.Before you start, make sure you have a compatible controller.
Step 1: You can put your controller in pairing mode.
If you don't have access to your owner's manual, you can use the internet to find instructions on how to do it.Press and hold the connect button for a few seconds if you're using an Xbox Wireless Controller.Press and hold the PS and Share buttons at the same time, until the light bar flashes, if you're using a DUALSHOCK 4 Wireless Controller.
Step 2: You can open your settings on your phone.
The grey gear app icon can be found on one of your Home screens or in a folder.
Step 3: Go to the app and tap it.
The menu will open.
Step 4: The switch should be on the On position.
If the switch is grey, then you'll need to turn on your wireless device by tapping it.Under "Other Devices" you'll see a list of devices that you can connect to.
Step 5: The controller's name should be tapped.
Follow the instructions on the screen.If you're using a DUALSHOCK 4 controller that will pair with your phone, you need to press the PS button in the middle of the controller and wait for it to re- connect.
