You will learn how to connect a thermostat to a wi-fi network so you can control it from your phone or computer.
Step 1: The thermostat has a Menu on it.
There is a display screen next to Home, Fan, and System.
Step 2: You can tap on the wi-fi setup.
You can see a list of available networks.
Step 3: You can tap your network.
The arrow buttons allow you to see more of the networks.
Step 4: If you need to type a password, tap Done.
If you forgot your password and didn't change it, you can find it on a sticker on your routers.
Step 5: You can tap next.
You'll see a confirmation page if your thermostat connects successfully.Make sure you typed the correct password if the connection was unsuccessful.If you disconnected the thermostat, you could try to get it back.
Step 6: The thermostat should be in "Wi-Fi Setup" mode.
You can skip to the next step if you see "Wi-Fi Setup" on the screen.When you see a set of numbers, release the FAN button and the UP arrow.If you want to change the number on the left to 39, you have to press the next button.The main screen on the thermostat has the DONE button on it.
Step 7: You can open the settings on your computer or phone.
You should look for a network that your thermostat is sending.
Step 8: "NewThermostat" is similar to the wi-fi network.
Refer to How to connect to a wireless internet connection if you don't know how.You need to tap on the network name to connect.
Step 9: You can open a web browser.
To connect your thermostat's network, you should be directed to a list of available networks on your phone or computer.If you don't get to the setup page, go to http://192.168. 1.1.
Step 10: Select your home's network, enter the password, and tap connect.

Step 11: The thermostat screen needs to be checked.
When it has connected to your internet, it will display a "Wait" message.Total Connect Comfort's website or mobile app can be used to control it.You can see the strength of the wi-fi signal on the thermostat's display screen.
