Combine 15 prunes with 1.5 cups of water and 1 to 2 ounces of orange juice. You don't have to add orange juice if you want a slightly sweeter taste. To make spiced prunes, add cinnamon, cloves, ginger, and lemon juice.

Step 2: If you want to cover it, bring the mixture to a boil.

If you see bubbles forming in your mixture, turn your stove on high.Put a lid on your pan and make sure the steam can't escape. The steam in your pan will make the prunes softer.

Step 3: Put your mixture in a pot for 30 minutes.

If you want bubbles to rise to the surface of your mixture, turn the stove down to medium heat.If your pan starts to bubble over, turn the heat down again. It is possible to turn your water mixture into a thick syrup by simmering it.

Step 4: Put the hot syrup and prunes in a bowl.

If you want to eat it hot, transfer it to a bowl. You can eat it plain or pour milk over it.Since they are high in fiber, stewed prunes are a great way to reduce constipation. If you want to make a dessert, you can pour your stewed prunes over greek yogurt.Prunes can be kept in the fridge for 4 to 5 days.

Step 6: Put them in a container with water.

Prunes can be smooth if you puree them a few times.Prunes tend to get sticky when they are pureed, so add in more water. You can use a fork to mash up the prunes if you don't have a blender.

To lightly brush vegetable oil onto a baking tray, use a pastry brush or a paper towel.Don't let the oil pool up anywhere; instead, make sure there is a thin coating over the tray. The bacon will be crispier when it is in the oven.

Step 11: Place a prune at the top of your bacon slices.

Place each bacon slice on a flat surface. If you want to roll them, place 1 prune at the top of each slice of bacon. If your bacon slices are larger than the prunes, you should cut them in half.

Step 12: The bacon should be secured with a toothpick.

Roll the bacon piece over the top of the prune until it reaches the end.Put a toothpick in the top of the bacon to hold it all together. If you don't have a toothpick, the bacon will probably fall in the oven.
