How To Count Steps with the Apple Watch

The Pedometer feature on the Apple Watch shows the number of steps that you take.As soon as you set up your Apple Watch, the Activity app begins counting your steps, but you can check them from within the app on your phone.

Step 1: The Apple watch can be unlocked.

If you have an Apple Watch that's locked, you can press the Digital Crown if you want to enter your password.If the Apple Watch is asleep on your wrist, raise it and then press the Digital Crown twice.Press the Digital Crown if you have an app open.

Step 2: You can open the Activity app.

The Activity app icon resembles a series of pink, green, and blue spirals.The current day's activity statistics will open the Activity app.You can open the Activity app on the Apple Watch if it has an icon on it.If you're opening the Activity app for the first time, tap at the bottom of the fifth screen to go through the four introductory screens.

Step 3: To find theTAL STEPS section, scroll down.

Near the bottom of the page, you'll find this section.

Step 4: Take a moment to review your day's steps.

The number below the "ToTAL STEPS" heading is the number of steps that you have taken since the beginning of the day.If you're constantly moving, this number can take anywhere from a few seconds to a couple of minutes to update.

Step 5: Find the number of steps for the week.

Press down on your Apple Watch screen to prompt a pop-up menu, and then scroll down to the "STEPS" section.The number is a representation of the steps you've taken this week.The Weekly Summary section can be closed by tapping in the upper left corner of the screen.

Step 6: You can open the app on your phone.

The Activity app icon looks like a bunch of pink, green, and blue circles on a black background.You may have accidentally deleted the app if you don't see it.It can be re-downloaded from the App Store.If you don't have access to your Apple Watch, viewing your activity on your phone is useful.

Step 7: You can tap on the History tab.

It is in the bottom- left corner of the screen.The calendar for the current month is brought up by doing that.

Step 8: Pick a day.

To view your step count, tap the day.The day's activity statistics will be opened by this.By scrolling up to the month in question, you can choose a day in a previous month.

Step 9: Click on the "Steps" heading.

There is a heading on the left side of the screen.

Step 10: Take a moment to review your number of steps.

The number below the "Steps" heading is the number of steps you have taken since the beginning of the day.
