A DVD can be created, or burned, from files that contain an ISO, also known as a disc image, extension.A single ISO file has the ability to capture the contents of an entire DVD and can be burned to any recordable DVD, however, your current disc burning hardware must be able to support the procedure based on its features.You can burn an ISO file to a DVD with Windows 7.
Step 1: Refer to the manual for your disc burner if you don't know what types of discs it can burn.
Step 2: You can record a blank DVD into your disc burner drive.
Step 3: Click on the "Start" menu in the lower left of the screen to start the computer.

Step 4: By double-clicking on the ISO file you want to burn, you can open it in the Windows Disc image burner.
You can burn the disc image by clicking on the ISO file.If another program on your computer has automatically associated itself with the ISO file, you can choose to use Windows Disc image burner as your desired application.
Step 5: If you have more than one burner, you should see the correct disc burner drive in the drop-down menu.
Step 6: If necessary, click on the arrow to choose a different disc burner drive.
If you want Windows to notify you that the disc burning process was successful, place a check mark next to "Verify disc after burning".The verification option can add time to the disc burning process.
Step 7: To begin the disc burning process, click on the "Burn" button.
Step 8: After burning your ISO file to the DVD, click on the "Close" button to close the Windows disc image burner application.
Step 9: Remove the burned DVD from your disc burner drive.
