How To Cross Your Eyes

Do you want to annoy your parents, amuse your friends, or add something extra to your comedy routine?"Crossing" your eyes is a fun, easy trick that never fails to get a reaction from you.Your eyes won't get stuck in a position crossed, contrary to what your parents or teachers will tell you.Step 1 will teach you how to cross your eyes and start scaring people.

Step 1: Your eyes should be focused on the tip of your nose.

Slowly lower your gaze until you can see the tip of your nose. This may cause an eye strain since you're not used to using your eye muscles this way.You won't be able to see it yourself, but your eyes should now be crossed.Since you're looking down, no one else can see that your eyes are crossed.

Step 2: Your gaze should be moved upward.

This part is difficult.Once you've mastered looking at the tip of your nose, you should slowly move your gaze upward, as if you were looking straight ahead, while trying to keep your eyes straight.

Step 3: Practice, practice.

Once you stop focusing on your nose, it will be hard to keep your eyes open.As soon as you cross your eyes, your brain will attempt to focus on more distant objects, which will cause you to lose sight of something that is very close to you.It may take some practice to keep your eye muscles out of focus.Everyone can see your face if you keep your eyes open.

Step 4: Get assistance from a friend.

If you want to master eye crossing, you need a friend to watch you do it, so you can make sure you're doing it right.A friend of yours will say "Ew!" if you look up.Chances are you've successfully crossed your eyes if you make a gross face.It takes a lot of coordination to take a picture of yourself in the cross-eyed position and see if it works.

Step 5: At arm's length, hold a pen at eye level.

Try to ignore everything behind that object. This version of staring at the tip of your nose exaggerates the process and makes it simpler.

Step 6: The object should be closer to your face.

Make sure to keep your focus on the object only. This will require some practice. If you can't keep your gaze on the object at first, you should be fine.

Step 7: When the object is close to your face, stop.

Your eyes should cross when the pen is 2–4 inches from your face. With your eyes crossed, take a moment to focus on the object.

Step 8: Don't move your eyes if you remove the object from your sight.

The part is difficult.Keeping your eyes crossed is hard, but can be accomplished with practice.Your eyes will seem to "snap" back into focus when you cross.

Step 9: You should be a master at crossing your eyes.

Only a pro at crossing your eyes the regular old way can you master this advanced skill. If you do it successfully, you'll be able to move your eyeballs in different directions.

Step 10: You should cross your eyes.

Use whatever technique works best for crossing your eyes, whether it's looking at the tip of your nose and then looking up, using a pen, or doing whatever works for you.

Step 11: Move one eye away from your nose.

While your eyes are crossed, move your right eyeball out to the left side of your face.At first, it should go to the middle. To focus on the tip of your nose, keep the left eye crossed.A disturbing look will be created, with one eye crossed all the way, and the other either facing out or even to the side.

Step 12: Go back and forth with the other side.

If you have more control of one eye than the other, you should move your left eye to the center or left corner of your eye and keep your right eye crossed.See which one is easier.

Step 13: Keep practicing!

This is even harder than crossing your eyes, but if you master it, you will freak out your friends even more. You will be a champ in no time if you practice this skill for a few minutes a day.
