How To Delete a Header in Google Docs

Adding text to the top of each page is possible if you use the headers in the document.The mobile app and website can be used to teach you how to remove a headers in a doc.

Step 1: You can open your document in the doc store.

The app icon looks like a piece of paper with white lines on it, and you can find it on one of your Home screens, in the app drawer, or by searching.If you want to create a new document, you can either tap from the list or the plus icon.

Step 2: The edit icon can be tapped.

This is in the bottom right corner of the app.

Step 3: There is a tap on the screen.

There are three dots at the top right corner.

Step 4: To turn it on, tap the switch next to "Print layout".

If you have Print layout enabled, you can only see the footers.

Step 5: You can remove the header by tapping it.

The text area is where you'll see the blinking cursor.

Step 6: The text should be deleted.

You can either change what you typed or wipe it all off.The document's title will change to reflect the first page.

Step 7: You can open your document in the doc store.

If you haven't already, you'll need to log in.To open a saved word project in a new tab, you can double-click a document from the list.

Step 8: Click on it to remove it.

You'll see a menu link for more options when you outline theheader.

Step 9: Click on the option that interests you.

There is a blue link in the bottom right corner.A menu will change.

Step 10: Click on the one you want to remove.

The last option on the menu is usually this.Your headline will disappear once you click that.
