You can learn how to stop using your own Slack account.
Step 1: Go to https://www.my.slack.com/settings.
The Slack app doesn't support deactivating an account, so you have to use your web browser.Messages and files will not be deleted if you deactivating your account.You will have to do that manually.You must transfer the team to another member first if you want to remove your account.You can do this at my.slack.com.
Step 2: You can type in your team's URL.
You can type the team name into the text box.Follow the on-screen instructions if you don't remember.
Step 3: Continue.
Step 4: You can enter your email address and password.
Step 5: Go to sign in.
Step 6: You can Deactivate your account by scrolling down.
It's under the "Deactivate account" heading.You will only be deactivating your account for this team.If you are a member of another team, you can still sign in with your account.
Step 7: You need to confirm your password.
This is for protection.You can continue by typing the password you used to access it.There will be a confirmation screen.
Step 8: Go ahead and remove my account.
You have removed your account from the team.If you contact a Team Administrator, you can be added back to the team in the future.
