You can learn how to remove your Square account.To remove your Square account, you need to contact Square directly.You cannot uninstall your account from the dashboard despite Square's commentary.
Step 1: There is a contact page for Square.
In your browser, go to https://www.squareup.com/help/contact.
Step 2: Click Account settings.
This option is at the top of the section.You will be prompted to log in with your email address and password if you aren't signed into Square.
Step 3: Click the button to deactivate my account.
The next page has the top option.
Step 4: I need help.
There is an option below the "Deactivate My Account" box.
Step 5: You can click email support.
It is at the top of the list.
Step 6: You can type in your request for account deletion.
Tell us a little more about your issue in the box below.Make sure your statement is concise and direct.Write something like "I would like you to stop using my account for me."
Step 7: Click to submit.
The email box has a button below it.If you send an email to Square tech support, it will be reviewed and fulfilled.
Step 8: Wait for the confirmation email.
Square tech support will email you a confirmation when your account is no longer active.You may have to confirm that you want your account to be deleted in a follow-up email if Square isn't willing to let you do it.
