There are programs that automatically launch when you start the computer.There are a few simple steps to disabling startup programs on both Macintosh and Windows computers.
Step 1: Hit Alt+Del.
Step 2: Click Task Manager.
Step 3: Click the start up tab.
Step 4: There is a list of applications and services in it.
Step 5: Click it to stop.
The item's status will be changed toDisabled and it will no longer launch on startup.
Step 6: You can start by clicking the Start button.
The lower left corner of the screen has this.To do this without the mouse, hit Win.
Step 7: You can type "msconfig".
Step 8: Hit and enter.
Step 9: Click the start up tab.
Step 10: From the list, click on the next program or service.
The service is enabled if checked and disabled if not.All startup programs can be disabled at the same time.
Step 11: Click OK if you don't want to.
This will close the window and save your changes.The items will not launch on startup.You can save the changes by clicking Apply.
Step 12: Click on the menu.
The upper left corner is on the screen.
Step 13: Click System Preferences.
Step 14: Click Users and Groups.
Step 15: Click the link to log in.
Step 16: Click on the account name you want to modify.
There is a list of usernames in the left sidebar.
Step 17: You can click the Lock icon.
If this menu is unlocked, you can skip this step.
Step 18: Your password needs to be entered.
Step 19: Click on the application you want to stop.
Step 20: Click the button.
The list of applications is where this is located.This will stop the application from running.
Step 21: The + button can be used to re-add items.
