People who use a word processor have accidentally hit the Insert key and overwritten when they thought they were editing. There is a simple way to remove the Insert key from your keyboard.A windows message is created when you press a key, and it contains a unique key code.Microsoft Word looks for keypress messages and takes actions based on the key code in them. When the insert key is pressed, windows send a message with null for the key code. The programmes receiving the message do not perform the action associated with an insert key press event, freeing you from having to worry about overwriting things again. Before you continue, make sure you read the warnings section.
