Step 1: The spinner should be in your dominant hand.
Pinch the finger pads on both sides of the spinner with your thumb and index finger. To keep it from slipping out of your grip, pinch it firmly. There are finger pads in the middle of your spinner. There are two pads on each side of the spinner. The parts spin.
Step 2: If you have a nondominant hand, spin it hard.
If you want to spin one of the prongs hard, use the index finger on your opposite hand. The spinner will spin quickly. If it isn't spinning hard, try again. You want the spinner to spin hard.Try using your dominant hand to spin it if you can't get a good speed going. The use of the opposite hand to spin a spinner is easier for some people.
Step 3: You should spread your hands 1– 1.5 feet apart.
Keep your arms level by spreading them apart. The palm of your hand should be facing the spinner in the opposite hand.
Step 4: You can use your arm to toss the spinner.
If you want to toss the spinner to your other hand, lower the arm and move it up quickly. You have time to adjust to the spinner as it falls, so toss it slightly upwards. If you can, throw the spinner so that you don't have to move your hand.Your audience will not be distracted by your arm moving.
Step 5: The spinner is between your thumb and index finger.
As the spinner travels through the air, place your fingers on your free hand.Track it with your eyes and then use your thumb and index finger to catch it when it falls.Try throwing it back to your original hand after you catch it using the same steps.
Step 6: The spinner can be spun using a medium speed.
If the spinner is spinning fast, give it a medium spin.If you level it with your finger, the prongs will spin parallel to the floor. If you hold the spinner in your dominant hand, you can spin it with your nondominant hand.If that is more comfortable for you, you can do the opposite. If you want to spin the spinner in the same way you hold it, you can use your middle finger to hold the pad on the opposite side of your thumb.
Step 7: Take your thumb off the spinner and use your index finger to balance it.
Take your thumb out of the spinner. The spinner should not fall to the floor if you keep your index finger still. The spinner needs to be balanced in your hand by adjusting the pad of your finger. The best chance of balancing the spinner is if you keep your palm facing upward.
Step 8: Raise your arm and toss it up in the air.
Lower your forearm by 3–6 inches without adjusting your wrist. The spinner should be thrown directly in the air.As you throw the spinner, keep an eye on it.If you move your wrist while you throw, it will cause it to fly at an angle.
Step 9: You can catch it with your middle finger.
If you want to catch the spinner on your middle finger, you need to adjust the position of your hand.Put your ring and index finger on either side and lower your middle finger as the spinner lands to brace it and cushion the fall.If you find yourself dropping the spinner when it lands, try tossing it lower in the air.If you can't get the spinner to stay straight when you throw it, focus on keeping your wrist firm.
Step 10: Move it back to your finger by tossing it into the air.
Use the same downward and upward motion to toss the spinner back in the air. This time, use your pointer finger to catch the spinner. If you get good at this, you can toss it and switch fingers quickly to make the spinner bounce.
Step 11: You can spin the spinner with your dominant hand.
In your dominant hand, spin the spinner hard.To balance the spinner on your index finger, remove your thumb from the upper finger pad.You have to balance the spinner on your finger with your wrist in order to perform this trick.
Step 12: Put your index finger under the spinner.
The index finger should be in the center of the finger pad.As you do this, keep the spinner parallel to the ground.Lower the spinner by at least 6 inches.
Step 13: Place your wrist around the outside of the spinner.
With your palm facing your body, move your wrist around the outside of the spinner in a half circle. The forearm should be pointed directly towards the ground. When you feel a strain in your wrist or elbow, stop moving your arm.You should be able to move your arm at least 6 inches (15 cm) before you feel any strain.
Step 14: Put your arm back in the original position.
Bring your arm back along the same path as you did when you moved your wrist to the other side of the spinner. The spinner should be raised as you return your arm to the original position.
Step 15: You should start spinning the spinner with your dominant hand.
As usual, spin the spinner in your hand. There is no need to worry about getting a fast spin. The spinner needs to be pinched between your thumb and index finger. The throwing motion is difficult to get right if you start with the spinner in your nondominant hand.
Step 16: Keep your hand out of the way behind you.
To get your hand out behind your back, slowly move it.While you adjust your wrist, keep the spinner parallel to the ground. If you keep your hand behind you, it will be on the other side. The arm on the opposite side should be adjusted with your free arm.
Step 17: To toss the spinner, use your arm.
If you want to swing your forearm towards your free hand, loosen your elbow a little and use it as a hinge. You can send the spinner to your other hand by releasing the grip.Give yourself some time to catch it.The spinner should not fall directly to the ground if you Arc your toss a little bit.
Step 18: You can catch the spinner with your hand.
Determine the angle of your toss and predict when it will land in your hand.Pinch your thumb and index finger together to catch the spinner. The sound of the prongs as they spin will give you a sense of where it is behind your back.
Step 19: Bring your arm out from behind your back.
Bring your arm in front of you once you catch the spinner.Show your audience that the spinner is in your hand by raising it.If you can pull it off quickly while facing your audience, it is very impressive.
Step 20: Hold the spinners between your fingers.
You have an easier time catching the spinners if you use 2 identical ones.Put your index fingers between the prongs and flick them to spin them. The weight difference between the spinners can make them hard to catch.
Step 21: Throw the spinners to the other hand at the same time.
Hold the spinners out in front of you and lower your arms a bit.Throw the spinner in your dominant hand over the other spinner as they spin.As you bend your knees, make sure your tosses are consistent.
Step 22: On the other hand, hold each spinner between your thumb and forefinger.
Release each spinner at the same time so that you can catch them.Track them while they are in the air by keeping your eyes forward and using your peripheral vision. You can pinch each spinner with your thumbs and index fingers.Keep your knees bent as you catch them.
Step 23: Allow your spinners to continue spinning.
As you present your spinners to your audience, keep your hands raised. It will look like you are juggling the spinners if you repeat the trick quickly. You should exaggerate your catch to make it seem more impressive.
