The Kickasstorrents file-sharing site teaches you how to download a file.To download a program, you'll need to do so.It is illegal to download torrents for copyrighted material.
Step 1: Go to the website.
It can be found at http://www.bittorrent.com.You can download it for both Mac and Windows.
Step 2: Click to download it.
There is a button in the middle of the page
Step 3: Click on the "Free Download" link.
The "Compare Features" is heading near the top of the page.
Step 4: Wait for the setup file to download.
Before continuing, you may need to confirm the download or choose a location.
Step 5: Click on the setup file.
It has white lines on it.You may need to confirm that you want to open the setup file.
Step 6: Click again.
The setup window has it in the bottom-right corner.
Step 7: Click I agree.
Clicking this button will let you know that you read and agree with the terms of use.
Step 8: If prompted, select shortcut locations.
Most of the time, a shortcut will be installed on your desktop.Clicking the box to the left of them will let you de-select them.
Step 9: Click next twice.
When you click on the second page, you can choose to prevent BitTorrent from starting up.
Step 10: You can decline any pages with extra downloads.
It will ask you to install more programs when you download it.Clicking if you don't want them will prevent them from being downloaded.
Step 11: When it's done installing, click Finish.
The window is in the bottom-right corner.You will be able to download your torrent when BitTorrent opens.
Step 12: You can go to the KickassTorrents website.
If you are asked to register in order to download, you're on the wrong site.Since KickassTorrents uses intrusive advertising, you may want to use an ad blocker.
Step 13: Click on the "Search query" bar.
The search bar is in the middle of the page.
Step 14: Click the magnifying glass icon if you type in a search term.
The search bar has an icon to the right of it.You would type in the book's title if you were searching for it.
Step 15: There is a healthy torrent.
The number in the "SEED" column on the right side of the page should ideally be higher, or at least equal to.Make sure the file name, category, and any other information in the title matches what you're looking for.1080p is ideal, so look for at least "720p" in the title.Poor quality will come from anything lower.
Step 16: You can download a torrent by clicking on it.
The user feedback will give you an idea of how safe the torrent is.There are yellow and red thumbs-up in the top-right area of the torrent's page.The torrent may be broken or unsafe if you see a large number below the thumbs-down icon.
Step 17: You can download a torrent.
The torrent title is near the top of the page.It will begin to download if you do so.The download should take a few seconds.
Step 18: Click on your torrent file.
It should be opened in BitTorrent.The actual file will be downloaded after a moment.
Step 19: Wait for the file to download.
The torrent file will start connecting to seeders once you open it in your client.Once you connect to a few good seeders, you should see your download speed reach the max limit.Once the torrent is finished, you'll be able to find it in the Downloads folder on your desktop.If you want to search for your downloaded file, type its name into Spotlight or Start and then click on it.
