How To Draw Ginny Weasley

Ginny is the youngest child of Molly Weasley and eventually becomes Harry Potter's spouse. She's an awesome female character, so why not try to draw her?

Step 1: You can get a reference image.

Bonnie Wright, the actress who plays Ginny Weasley in the Harry Potter movies, has a picture of her on her website. If you want to draw her at a certain age, you can try searching for a specific book or movie.

Step 2: It's a good idea to sketch an oval lightly.

This is an outline for her face.Make sure that you can see and work with it even though it is dark. The shape of her face is important.Although we will be refining these as we go along, make sure it isn't something too arbitrary to begin with.

Step 3: Light guidelines can be created to help you place her features.

There are horizontal lines going across the face.Notice the relationship between the lines, like the difference in space between them, or how her ears line up with her nose. There are many ways to divide her face.Go with it if you're more comfortable with drawing a line across and one down. You should be comfortable with what you draw.

Step 4: Light lines are indicated by her hair.

You should not focus on detail right now.

Step 5: To show her shoulders, draw a few lines on both sides.

If your reference has her whole body, you can either make her shoulders and up in your drawing, or attempt to do the whole thing. It's up to you.

Step 6: There are symbols of her features.

We don't want the full on thing. We don't need any more than an outline for her lips, a triangle for the hairclip, dots for eyes, and so on.

Step 7: Make your lines neater by refining them.

Take what you don't need out of the guidelines. You don't have to follow the image to the extreme. It's possible that you still need something we don't.

Step 8: Simple shapes can be added to the neck area.

Think of the shapes of a vest and necktie and other clothes she is wearing in your drawing.

Step 9: Solidify her features.

Her eyes should be highlighted with highlights and pupils. She has a bridge of her nose.Add more strands of hair to her mouth. We're going into the home stretch.

Step 10: Make sure everything is perfect!

The clothes, the facial structure, everything!Until you are happy with your outline, do this.Darken the lines so that you can't see anything else.

Step 11: It's color!

Ginny's house colors are red and gold. Her hair is supposed to be bright red but the movie shows it in a more subtle way.The things are up to you.
