Installation of insulation is messy because you're crawling into dirty places to install it and because of the insulation fibers themselves.Some fibers can irritate your skin, causing you to itch and possibly cause a rash or other skin problems.Some of the skin problems associated with installing insulation can be prevented by dressing properly.
Step 1: The person is wearing overalls.
Purchase disposable paper overalls if you don't own any.Hardware stores usually have these.Wear your own cloth overalls, or wear a long-sleeved top underneath if you don't already have one.
Step 2: Wear gloves and socks.
Dust, dirt, or fibers are protected by the gloves.This is not a job for open footwear if you are wearing socks and closed shoes.
Step 3: All opening gaps need to be taped up.
Attach the overalls to your gloves and socks.You'll probably need help putting the tape around your neck.
Step 4: There is a cotton scarf around your neck.
Depending on how hard this is, you may need to tape it to the shirt or overalls.
Step 5: Safety glasses and a mask are required.
A cap protects your hair.
Step 6: After use, wash all clothes thoroughly.
It is a good idea to change the detergent in the laundry.If you have to walk through the house to get to the laundry, it's a good idea to put the clothes in a bucket and leave the rest at home.
