You can learn how to use the mobile app and web browser to make edits to the doc.Offline use is required before you can edit offline documents.
Step 1: Go to the internet and open the doc.
You can find this app icon on one of your Home screens, in the app drawer, or by searching for it.If you are, log in.
Step 2: You can tap.
This can be seen in the top left corner of your screen.
Step 3: There are offline files you can tap.
There is an icon in the middle of the menu that looks like a checkmark.The files you marked for offline use will show up.
Step 4: Select the file you want to modify.
Until you can connect to the internet again, the file will open and any changes you make will be saved locally.Once you're connected to the internet, your edits will be reflected in the file.
Step 5: Go to your browser.
The option to log in can be found in the top right corner of your browser.
Step 6: Go to drive.google.com/drive/settings
You have to use the browser that you opened to log in.The settings window will pop up if the drive loads.
Step 7: On this device while offline, check the box next to "create, open and edit your recent GOOGLE DOCS."
If you aren't connected to the internet, you can access the documents in the drive.
Step 8: Click Done.
There is a pop-up window in the top right corner.When you're offline, you can see the documents that can be edited and the ones that are grayed out.
Step 9: Click on the Doc to open it.
The "Saved to Device" label at the top of the screen indicates that your changes have been saved locally and will apply online once you're connected to the internet.
