Whenever you log in from a location that isn't associated with your account, you will be prompted to enter a code.This will help prevent unauthorized access to your account.

Step 11: You need to copy the code in the verification email.
A five-digit code is contained in your verification email.
Step 12: In the "Steam Guard" window, click "Next" and paste your code into the field.

If you are logging in from a public computer, don't select this.
Step 14: If you use the computer frequently, give it a friendly name.
