You can learn how to find friends and add them to your contact list on the app.
Step 1: You can open the app.
There is a white ghost with a yellow background.If you don't already have a password, tap and enter it.
Step 2: Go to the camera screen.
You can open your profile page by doing that.
Step 3: Go to my friends.
It is at the bottom of the screen.
Step 4: Contacts can be tapped.
There is a small tab on the right side of the screen.If you don't have access to your contacts, you will not be able to add contacts from your address book.When prompted, add your phone number to your account.
Step 5: Go to the person you want to add.
Contacts are listed in chronological order.To speed up your search, type your contact's name into the bar at the top of the screen.
Step 6: Add to the right of the contact's name.
Next to their name, you can add any contact.You won't be able to see the names of the contacts you've already added.You can see the contact's name if they don't have aSnapchat account.
Step 7: This person has been added to your friends list.
Go to the Friends tab at the top of the screen and look for his or her name on the list.The bar at the top of the page is where you can find the friend you just added.Your friends will need to add you back before they can see any snaps you send them.
Step 8: Go to the app.
There is a white ghost with a yellow background.If you don't already have a account, tap and enter your email address and password.
Step 9: Go to the camera screen.
You can open your profile page by doing this.
Step 10: Add friends by tapping.
There are two options on the profile screen.
Step 11: Go to Add by Username.
There is a search bar at the top of the page.Beneath the search bar, you will find your own usernames and public names.
Step 12: Go to the search bar and type in a friend's name.
Make sure you use the correct name.Under the search bar, look for the user's name.
Step 13: Add by tapping.
The button will be to the right of the user's name.They will be added to your Friends list.They will have to accept your friend request before they can view anything you send them.
Step 14: You can open the app.
There is a white ghost with a yellow background.If you don't already have a password, tap and enter it.If you want to add them in person, you'll need your friend to openSnapchat.
Step 15: Have your friend take a photo with their camera.
The profile page contains their individual snapcode, which is the yellow box with a ghost in it.If you're scanning a snapcode from an online page, skip this step.
Step 16: The snapcode box should be in the center of your screen.
You should be able to see the snapcode box on your screen.If the snapcode is not in focus, you can use your screen to refocus your camera.
Step 17: The snapcode box is on the screen.
You should see the account pop up after a brief pause.
Step 18: Add a friend.
Your friends list now includes whoever the snapcode belongs to.You can add a friend by tapping on the profile page and selecting a photo with the snapcode from the picture in your camera roll.
Step 19: Go to the app.

Step 20: Go to the camera screen.
You can open your profile page by doing that.
Step 21: Go to Add Friends.
The second option is on the profile page.
Step 22: Add nearby.
There are four options from the top of the screen.If prompted, you can enable location services for the "Add Nearby" feature.If you're not in the same area as the person you want to add, Add Nearby won't work.
Step 23: Make sure that Add Nearby is turned on for your friend.
The function only works when Add Nearby is turned on.When Add Nearby is active, a list of all users will appear on your screen.
Step 24: Add by tapping.
To the right of your friend's usernames is this button.By tapping next to each user you would like to add, you can add multiple users at the same time."Added" to the right of their usernames is what users that are already on your Friends list will have.
