The appearance and design of computers and devices running on Windows 8 are different than those running earlier versions of Windows.There are two ways to locate Windows 8 programs and applications.
Step 1: The WIN + C keys should be pressed at the same time.
The Charms menu will be displayed.
Step 2: Click on the name of the program you're looking for.
Step 3: When the program displays in the search results, click on it.
Step 4: The WIN + D keys should be pressed at the same time.
Step 5: The WIN + R keys should be pressed at the same time.
Step 6: To execute your search, press the "enter" button.
Windows 8 will look for programs and apps that fit your criteria.
Step 7: You can access the Windows 8 desktop by pressing the WIN + D keys at the same time.
Step 8: Click on the folder icon to open it.
This will start a new session of File Explorer.
Step 9: Click on the "Search libraries" field and type in the name of the program you're looking for.
Step 10: When the program is displayed in the search results, select it.
Step 11: Click on the Start screen to open your computer.
Step 12: At the bottom right corner of your screen, there is a display of all apps.
The list of installed programs will be displayed in alphabetical order.
Step 13: The program can be found in the search results.
