How To Format a Cell in Microsoft Excel

Knowing how to format your spreadsheet in excel can help you improve not just the aesthetic perspective of your document, but also its effectiveness in providing relevant information to the viewers of the files.You can modify and format each cell in Microsoft excel to your liking.

Step 1: You can open your excel.

Click the Start button on the lower- left corner of the screen to start the program.Inside, you will find a folder called Microsoft Office.Click on it.

Step 2: Pick the group of cells you want to format.

Use your mouse to highlight it.

Step 3: The format cells window can be opened.

From the pop up menu, click on the cells you want to format and you will be taken to theFormat Cells window.

Step 4: You can set the options for the cell.
