How To Freeze a Row on Google Sheets on iPhone or iPad
You can learn how to freeze rows at the top of a spreadsheet using an iPad or an iPhone.There are frozen rows at the top when you scroll down.
Step 1: You can open the Sheets app on your mobile device.
The Sheets app looks like a spreadsheet icon on your home screen or in a folder.There is a list of all your saved spreadsheet files.If you don't log in automatically, you will need to enter your password and email in order to sign in.
Step 2: You can change the file by tapping it.
You can find the spreadsheet you want to work on by scrolling down the list.
Step 3: There is a row number.
Your spreadsheet has rows numbered on the left-hand side.Clicking a row number will highlight the entire row.
Step 4: Again, tap the same row number.
After you select a row, you can open a black, pop-up toolbar with your editing options on it.
Step 5: The pop-up toolbar has a rightward arrow icon.
There is a button on the side of the toolbar.More editing options will be shown.
Step 6: You can Freeze rows on the pop-up.
The selected row will be frozen at the top of the spreadsheet.You no longer have to look at your frozen rows to scroll down this spreadsheet.To see more editing options, tap the right arrow again if you don't see this option.It's not possible to freeze a row in the middle of a spreadsheet without affecting the rows above it.
