Have a parade coming up?Is it simply a kit inspection? Is your shoes shiny? You don't need to worry, just follow these simple steps and you'll have the best shoes.
Step 1: Make sure that your shoes don't have anything on them.
Give them a quick sanding if you polished them before. They need to be clean as well.
Step 2: Get some black polish.
You can't get that mirror finish because of the paraffin.
Step 3: Rub cotton wool on the nose of the shoe and then rub some shoe polish on it.
The layer of polish should be thin.To build up a permanent shine, it is best to work in many thin layers.
Step 4: When you get fresh cotton wool, soak it in water, and rub it on the nose of the shoe, it will move in small circles.
You will achieve nothing if they are too large or small.
Step 5: For as long as it takes, small circles should appear and disappear.
Once there is no sign of matt polish, you should get your soft cloth, a microfiber cloth used for cleaning glasses, and buff up the nose really hard and quickly, drying it and giving it that mirror shine.
Step 6: It will take quite a while in the beginning to build up a substantial base of polish, so repeat it as many times as necessary.
It only takes a minute before each and every parade/inspection to get it back to its former glory.
