Your body is busy defending itself when you're sick.It can be difficult to get things done around the house.Don't fret.If you want to tackle everything on your to-do list, you need to learn to become energized from self care, social bonds, and a few other methods.
Step 1: Make a list of the chores you have to do.
Think about what needs to be fixed around the house.Write those things down.Take a second look at your list to see what needs to be done first.It's important for you to rest in order for your body to recover quickly, so don't overexert yourself.
Step 2: Before you start your chore list, do what makes you feel good.
Your body responds to the feeling of washing your face or taking a shower with increased energy.It could be a game of chess.Do what makes you feel better.
Step 3: When you're feeling good, complete chores in five minutes.
Some chores require less effort than others.Many of these tasks can be completed in a short period of time.You might be surprised to know that you can complete many tasks in a short period of time.You don't have to walk back and forth to the trash can if you keep a trash bag on hand.Cleaning the kitchen counter, loading the dishwasher, sweeping the floor, wiping the mirrors, and folding your clothes can be done in less than five minutes.
Step 4: If you're tired, take a break.
You can sustain your energy throughout the day by taking breaks for as long as you need.Don't try to do everything you can, you will not be able to perform the way you would at your healthiest.If you want to complete your chosen tasks well, you should not spend all of your energy on a single task.
Step 5: Call a friend.
Energy can come from bonds you share.A brief chat with a friend or relative who understands your illness can fill you with positive energy.After a few good vibes, make your chore list.While talking to a friend, find a nearby area with a comfortable seat.The fresh air may make you feel better.
Step 6: For motivation, invite a friend over.
Someone you know has a positive effect on your energy.Let them know how important they are to you because of how they make you feel.Ask them to give you a few positive words of motivation when you invite them over.
Step 7: The tasks should be delegated to others.
If you need help around the house, let someone know.You might not be aware that there are more people in your circle than you are aware of.You can ask for help.Many people prefer to be asked for help rather than being asked if they can help.
Step 8: If you have to, shorten your chore list.
It is not important to finish every task you set out to do in the beginning.Cross out everything you have done on your list and be proud of yourself.
Step 9: Don't beat yourself up, and be positive.
There is a lot of work to be done.If your energy level does not match up with the tasks at hand, don't take it to heart.For another day, save those tasks.
Step 10: It's a good idea to rest often.
Take it easy.It's possible to get back up later by reading your favorite books or listening to music.That is okay if it doesn't.If necessary, this includes getting more than eight hours of sleep.
