The saliva will be removed from your skin and the bite will heal on its own.
Step 2: You should ice the mosquito bite as soon as possible.
You may not be able to detect mosquito bites for a while.Icing the area helps control pain.
Step 3: Cetirizine will help with itching and swelling.
Cetirizine can be bought at your local pharmacy.You can take a pill by mouth to relieve the symptoms of a mosquito bite.If you are treating children, you should use loratadine.It is possible to prevent your symptoms by taking the medication.
Step 4: Benadryl can be used to relieve itching.
If you are an adult, you can take between 25 and 50mg of Benadryl.For children that are between 6 and 12 years old, only give 12.5 grams.Benadryl can make you sleepy when you go to bed.Do not operate heavy machinery after you take Benadryl.
Step 5: Soothe the area by applying a calamine lotion or an over-the-counter medication.

Step 6: Take a tub with oatmeal, baking soda, or Epsom salt in it.
Put your tub in the water by following the package directions.For at least 10–15 minutes, soak in the tub.
