How To Install and Use Indian Rupee Symbol in Windows

Are you making a report, an account excel sheet, or doing anything else that requires the Indian Rupee symbol, but you can't find it in your Windows system?This article will show you how to solve your problem.

Step 1: According to your operating system, download and install the hotfix.

To use this hotfix, you must be using Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 2008 R2.After installing the hotfix, restart the computer.

Step 2: You can start the control panel by going to the region and language.

Step 3: Click on the 'Keyboards and Languages' tab.

Step 4: Click on the keyboard that you want to change.

There is a button under the keyboard and other input languages section.

Step 5: Click on it to add.

The button is under the Installed services section.

Step 6: In the Add input language window, double click on 'English ( India)'.

Step 7: Under English, click on 'Keyboard'.

Step 8: Click on it.

The keyboard section of English in India has an option.Under the keyboard section of English (India), click on 'india'.

Step 9: You can expand the Other section by scrolling down to English (India).

Click on 'Ink correction'.You can add this as your input language by clicking on the 'OK' button.

Step 10: Under the Default input language section, select 'English ( India) - India'.

Step 11: Click the 'OK' button in the Text Services and Input Languages window.

You have finished setting up.

Step 12: The symbol can be obtained with the use of the Ctrl + Right Alt + 4 combination.

Remember to use "Ctrl" and " Right Alt", not the left Alt and 4 key, and the number pad 4.
