Dust is an unfortunate part of life, and finding dust bunnies under the bed can be gross. You don't have to let dust rule your life.If you take a few precautions and clean your bedroom once a week, you will be able to keep dust out of the room.
Step 1: Keep your floor clear of stuff.
Soft objects can collect dust and transfer it to the floor under the bed.To keep your floor clean, try to keep it clear as much as you can.If you want to collect your dirty clothes throughout the week, put a laundry hamper in your room.
Step 2: Put shoes away.
Dust, dirt, and other allergens can accumulate under your bed if you don't wear shoes. As soon as you get home, take your shoes off and put them in your closet or mudroom.Taking your shoes off before entering will help keep dirt and mud out of the rest of your house.
Step 3: Attach a bed skirt to your bed.
Bed skirts are sheets that fit around the lower part of the bed frame and touch the floor. It's easier to clean up the dust that accumulates underneath the bed if you have a barrier in place.Dust can accumulate in your room if you put one of these on your bed. It's a good idea to wash your bed skirt every week.

Step 5: It's a good idea to leave your room as often as possible.
To let the air circulate in your bedrooms, open the doors and windows whenever you can.Dust can accumulate under your bed, so this will discourage it.If you want to keep your windows open for a long time, consider putting bug screens on them.
Step 6: You can use a fan to circulate air.
Set up a box or standing fan in your room to move the air around. It can help keep your room cool during the summer months. If you have a ceiling fan, you can turn it off.

Step 8: You should wash your bedding once a week.
Dust can be transferred under your bed from your sheets, pillowcases, and comforter to it.Change your sheets and pillowcases every week and wash your bedding at least once a week in water that's 130 F.Once a week, wash your pet's bedding if they sleep in their own bed.
