You can learn how to uninstall yourself from a Slack workspace using the app.No other workspace you belong to will be affected by deactivating your account in a workspace.
Step 1: Use your mobile internet browser to open Slack.com.
If you want to return to slack.com, type it into your browser's address bar.You can remove yourself from a workspace in your mobile internet browser, even though the mobile app doesn't allow it.
Step 2: You can tap the icon.
You can find the button in the upper-right corner of your browser window.On the drop-down menu, it will open your browsing options.
Step 3: You can request a site on the menu.
When this option is selected, your browser will reload the website and open the desktop version.This option may be named in some browsers.You won't be able to access and edit your workspace member settings if you skip this step and log in through the mobile website.
Step 4: The sign in option is available.
Underneath the blue button on the home page, it's written in blue letters.
Step 5: You can enter your workspace's URL address.
The URL field is where you can type or paste your link.
Step 6: The Continue button is green.
You will be asked to sign in with your email and password.
Step 7: You must have an email address and password to sign in.
To enter your email and password, tap the green button.This will open your workspace.
Step 8: The workspace name is next to the icon.
You can find your workspace's name at the top of the menu panel on the left, and tap this button to see your options.
Step 9: On the drop-down menu, tap Profile and account.
This will open your workspace directory panel in your browser.
Step 10: There is a gear icon below your name.
Click on the gear icon next to the button to open your settings.This will open your account settings page.
Step 11: Click the button to Deactivate your account.
You can permanently remove yourself from the workspace with this option.If you are the owner of this workspace, you won't see this button here.You have to transfer ownership to someone else.tap if you're prompted to provide your password.
Step 12: Remove my account by tapping the red Yes.
If you click this button, you will be able to change your email or usernames.You will not be affected if you are a member of any other workspace.You will only be removed from the selected workspace if you deactivating your account here.
Step 13: I want to stop my account from being active.
This box tells you that you want to leave.
Step 14: The button on the Deactivate my account is red.
This button will remove your account from this workplace.
