You can learn how to link your AdSense account for payments using an internet browser.You can link your existing AdSense account in the creator studio for all advertisement revenues and payments once you verify your account.You can link AdSense right away, but you will have to fulfill the minimum number of watch hours and subscribers before you can monetize.
Step 1: Go to your internet browser.
If you want to return to your keyboard, type or paste into the address bar.
Step 2: On the top-right is your profile picture.
A drop-down menu will be opened by the thumbnail of your picture in the upper-right corner of the page.Click the blue button on the top-right if you aren't automatically logging in.
Step 3: The Your channel button is on the menu.
The top option is on the menu.On the new page, it will open your channel.If you see a button on the menu, you can click it to open the dashboard.
Step 4: The button is on the top-right.
There is a button in the upper-right corner of your channel.It will open the dashboard.
Step 5: The left-menu has a hyperlink on it.
The navigation menu on the left-hand side has a tab on it.
Step 6: The "Monetization" box has a button on it.
On the new page, this will open the channel monetization steps.You may need to verify your account if it says "Ineligible" under the Monetization heading.
Step 7: The start button is blue.
The first step is "Apply for monetization".The "YouTube Partner Program Terms" will be opened in a new pop-up.
Step 8: Under the program terms, check the first three boxes.
You will have to agree to the partner terms in order to monetize your channel.You can also check the last box at the bottom and get personalized emails about your channel from YouTube.
Step 9: Click the button if you want to accept it.
There is a pop-up window in the lower right corner.This will be the first step in the monetization process.You can link your account to your channel.
Step 10: The sign up button is next to the blue start button.
After completing the first step of monetization, you will be able to link your existing account or create a new one.
Step 11: Click the next button.
Click the button at the bottom of the message to open AdSense.
Step 12: Click on the account you want to link to.
You'll be asked if you'd like to use a Google account to monetize this channel.Select the account you want to use from the drop down menu.If you don't have an AdSense profile set up, you'll be directed to create one.
Step 13: Click the button if you want to watch a video.
The button is at the bottom of the page.You will be directed back to your creator studio after this link.You can either finish your monetization profile or come back later after linking your AdSense.
Step 14: There is a button next to the blue start button.
You can use the third step after linking AdSense.In a pop-up window, this will open your monetization preferences.
Step 15: The "Monetize all existing and future videos" switch needs to be on.
When the switch is turned on, it's blue.All your videos will be monetized when this option is enabled.None of your videos will be monetized unless you manually set a video for monetization.Each video will need to be monetized on the page.
Step 16: The box is next to the ad format you want to use.
The first option is required for all channels and you can enable/disable other ad formats here.There is an ad banner at the bottom of your video.Square ads will be shown at the end of your video.A skippable commercial will be shown before your video starts.
Step 17: The SAVE button is blue.
The pop-up is in the lower-right corner.You will be directed to the "Monetization" page after completing the third step of the monetization process.
Step 18: The watch hour and subscriber quota need to be filled.
After you fulfill the minimum watch hour and subscriber numbers, your channel monetization application will be reviewed by YouTube.4,000 watch hours in the previous year is what your channel will need.There are 1,000 subscribers.On the "Monetization" page, you can track your progress in Step 4.When you meet the watch quota, your official channel review will begin.
