If you have an Amazon Prime or Amazon Music unlimited subscription, you can download your favorite songs for offline listening.You don't have a free or reliable data connection when you're out in the world, but this is a great way to listen to your favorite tunes.You will learn how to use your computer to download music from Amazon Music to your phone or tablet, as well as how you can use it to store digital music files on your hard drive.
Step 1: You can open the Amazon Music app.
The app icon looks like white letters with an arrow pointing from "m" to "c" on a blue background.You can find it on one of the Home screens or in the app drawer.You need to subscribe to either Amazon Prime or Amazon Music to download music.
Step 2: Either tap my music or find it.
You can either download a song or use the search feature to find one.You can browse the music in your library by looking through tabs at the top of the screen, such as "Artists," "Albums," and "Songs."
Step 3: You can tap.
This is to the right of the title.If you don't see this, you can open the song with the title and then see it in the top right corner of the screen.
Step 4: If you want to download, tap it.
If you don't see an option, you may have authorized 10 devices already.Click next to the playlist's name and then tap if you want to download it.When you download the songs, you will be able to play them on your phone or tablet.
Step 5: Go to music.amazon.com or the Amazon Music app.
Click the link at the top-right corner if you're not already signed in.If you've purchased digital music files with your Amazon account, use this method.You won't be able to download music from those services if you're an Amazon Prime Music or Music Unlimited subscriber.There is a feature for offline listening.
Step 6: Click to make a purchase.
You can see this in the menu on the left side of the page or window.
Step 7: Next to the song you want to download is a box.
You can choose to download the songs at the top of the page or window if you fill the box with a checkmark.
Step 8: The download is at the top of the page.
If you have selected songs that you want to download, you'll see this at the top of the page.You'll see a pop-up window if your computer hasn't been authorized to download music.Click when prompted to do so.
Step 9: Go to the location you want to save and click OK.
You can use your computer to save the file.Double-clicking its file name will let you listen to it.
