Step 1: The acts of the sinful nature are recognized.
"Sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; Hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; Drunkenness, orgies, and the like."There is a passage in the book ofGalatians 5:19,20.The basic fruits of the sin are grouped together by Paul."If you put to death the misdeed of the body, you will live," says Paul.The choice is ours, but if we put to death all of these acts, we will live.We can either be in the flesh or the spirit.
Step 2: Those who live like this will not inherit the Kingdom of God.
Jesus said that he would know them by their fruits.James said "show me your faith without deed and I will show you my faith by what I do."We will live differently if we are true followers of Christ.We will live out the spirit rather than the flesh.
Step 3: The fruit of the spirit should be recognized.
The fruit of the spirit is Love, Patience, Faithfulness, Joy, Kindness, Peace, Goodness, and Self control.There is no law against these things.TheGalatians 5:23 are from the Apostle Paul.
Step 4: The fruit of the spirit will be produced by living by the spirits.
We should keep in step with the spirit since we live by it.There is a chapter in the book ofGalatians 5:25.This means that we need to walk in the fruits of our labor in every situation we find ourselves in.
