If you've been considering getting your nose pierced, there are many factors to consider; you may be afraid of the pain, unsure of how you will look with a new piercing, have metal allergies, or are under the age of 18.Making a fake nose ring is a realistic alternative to the real thing.
Step 1: Purchase the supplies you need.
To secure the nose stud in place, you'll need something that resembles a small gem, and glue.The stud can be made with jewels, beads, or anything with a flat surface.The fake eyelash glue is soft and doesn't harm the skin.You can buy these materials online or at a craft store.Super glues can be harmful to your skin.These can cause harm.
Step 2: Take care of your materials.
It's time to make your nose stud after you've gotten your fake eyelash glue and gem.Place your materials on a flat surface that is close to a mirror.The paper towel will catch your nose stud if you accidentally drop it.If you don't know what gem you want to use, hold a few in place to see which one you like the most.
Step 3: You need to apply your nose stud.
Start by putting fake eyelash glue on the back of your gem.Don't use too much glue because it will look sloppy and prevent your nose stud from drying.Put the stud on your nose by putting the glue on for 20 seconds.
Step 4: Put your nose stud in place.
Holding your nose stud in place will suffice if you press hard.30 seconds is how long it will take for the nose stud to dry.
Step 5: Look in the mirror.
Your reflection, nose stud and all are here.If you don't sweat or play with your fake piercing, it should stay in place for a full day.It is being held in place by glue.
Step 6: At the end of the day, remove your nose stud.
Simply twist your fake nose stud and it will come off.
Step 7: You should gather your materials.
Making a hoop requires more effort than making a stud.You will need a pen or pencil, pliers, wire or a headpin.Depending on how you want your nose ring to look, use wire or a head pin.Do you want your hoop to be thick or thin?If you're interested in a thin hoop, florist's wire works well.You can buy these supplies at any craft store.It may take a few tries to get your nose ring just right, but once you become comfortable working with these materials, you will be rocking a unique hoop in no time.
Step 8: Make a nose ring.
It's best to put your materials on a flat surface near a mirror.If you are not comfortable working with any of these materials, ask a family member or friend to help you.
Step 9: Your wire needs to be shaped.
bending your wire/pin around a pen/pencil will create the round shape of your hoop.To form a circle, grab your wire/pin and pen/pencil and bend it around your pen.Then remove it from the end of the pen.
Step 10: The nose ring should be cut to the correct size.
Take your pliers and cut the ends of your wire.The hoop should look like a circle at this point.Don't worry about the end result being perfect.
Step 11: You need to finish the ends of your nose ring.
You can bend the end of your wire with pliers.Don't bend back more than 1/2 in.You should see a small "O" or closed "U" at the end of your wire once it's bent.The round end will protect your piercing from scratching your nose.The inside of your nose is where the "O" end goes.You can file the other end of the pin.If you use a file on the other end of your wire, it will prevent it from scratching your nose.
Step 12: Put on your nose ring.
Put your nose ring in place by squeezing it.Your nose ring should stay in place until you remove it, and you should be able to bend your hoop fairly easily.This isn't a real piercing, and could slide off at any time.It's best to take off your nose ring while you sleep, bathe, or swim.
