How To Make a Google Calendar Private

If you create a calendar from your personal account, it will be private.Any events you add to a shared calendar are public.You can learn how to edit your events from public to private using the mobile app and desktop website.

Step 1: You can open the calendar on the internet.

The app icon looks like a flipboard displaying "31" that you can find on one of your Home screens, in the app drawer, or by searching.

Step 2: If you want to change the event, tap it.

The details page will be opened.

Step 3: You can tap.

The pencil icon is in the top right corner of the screen.

Step 4: There is an icon of a padlock next to Visibility.

You can also see.The privacy settings are opened by tapping this.

Step 5: You can tap private.

You can only see it if you change your event.

Step 6: Use the tap to save.

This can be seen in the top right corner of your screen.

Step 7: Go tocalendar.google.com and sign in

You can change the privacy settings on your events with any web browser.

Step 8: You can click on the event you want to modify.

The event's details will pop up.

Step 9: Click if you want to.

There is a pencil icon in the pop-up window.

Step 10: Click on the visibility you want.

Next to the icon of a briefcase is a menu.

Step 11: Click private.

It will change your event so you can't see it.

Step 12: Click it to save.

This is in the center of the page.

Step 13: Go tocalendar.google.com and sign in

To unshare a calendar, you have to use a web browser.

Step 14: Next to the calendar you want to edit, click on the left side of the page.

When you hover over the calendar's name, the three-dot menu icon will appear next to it.

Step 15: Click to share settings.

The second option is usually the one in the menu.

Step 16: Click on the access permission you want to use.

You can see this in the menu on the left side of the page.

Step 17: You can unmark the box next to "Make available to public".

You can turn off any link sharing with this calendar.If you want to remove specific people from your calendar, click the next to their name.
