How To Make a Wine Glass in Blender

A bit of a learning curve is what Blender has.This is the first time you can use Blender.Learn how.

Step 1: Remove the default cube.

Step 2: You should have the Cycles Render option.

Make sure you have Default for the other option.

Step 3: You can add mesh and cylinder.

Step 4: The front view needs to be changed.

Press thenumeric keypad to do this.There is a smallUrl and a bigUrl forCylinder_front_view.

Step 5: You can either zoom in or press.

To focus on an object, use the numpad.

Step 6: Press 5 on the keyboard to change perspective.

Step 7: Click on the wire frame to see it.

Step 8: To loop-cut, press R.

Step 9: Roll up the mouse wheel if you hold the cursor over the center of the cylinder.

When you see three rings, click on the cylinder.

Step 10: Press the A key.

This will change everything.

Step 11: Press B on your keyboard and select the top line.

You are choosing the top row if you do it.

Step 12: Click on it.

scaling your selection is what this is for.Click the left mouse button if you want to reduce it by one grid mark.

Step 13: To deselect, press the A key.

Step 14: Press B again to select the center ring.

Step 15: Increase by 1 grid mark by pressing S.

Step 16: To make it easier to change your mind, press the A key.

Step 17: To select the ring above the center one, press B.

Step 18: Press S and increase by half a grid mark.

Step 19: To make it easier to change your mind, press the A key.

Step 20: The ring is below the center one.

Step 21: Press S and decrease by 3 grid marks.

At this point, this should be what it looks like.

Step 22: To make it easier to change your mind, press the A key.

Step 23: The ring should be below the center one.

Step 24: Go to 4 grid marks with S.

Step 25: Press and hold the middle mouse button for a while.

If you have a grid at the top, click to select it.Pick Vertices from the options.That is what will be deleted.

Step 26: To see the front view, press 1 on the number pad.

Step 27: To extrude, press E with the bottom of your glass still selected.

Step 28: Pull down the grid marks.

The length can be set by clicking the mouse button.

Step 30: To extrude, press E.

Step 31: Go back three minor gridlines after pulling down to the second major gridline.

Step 32: Press E if you want to extrude.

Step 33: Bring down a grid mark.

Step 34: To widen by 2 grid marks, press S.

Step 35: Press E if you want to extrude.

Step 36: Bring down the grid mark.

Step 37: For a total of 10, press S and widen by 5 grid marks.

Step 38: Press E if you want to extrude.

Step 39: Bring down a grid mark.

The wine glass bottom is basic.It should be sitting on the major gridline if you have done it right.

Step 40: The viewport shading should be changed to solid and object mode.

There is a smallUrl and a bigUrl for Changing Mode.

Step 41: Press Shift and the middle mouse button if you want to pan your object.

Step 42: Make sure the wine glass looks right.

It should look like this.If you have one, the grid is a face.Press one, change to wire frame mode, make sure to be in ortho instead of perspective, then select the top of the class, and a menu should appear.Click it if you want to remove the face.

Step 43: You can smooth out the rough edges on your wine glass by pressing Smooth on the left side of the screen.

There is a smallUrl and a bigUrl forSmoothing Glass.

Step 44: The wrench is on the right side of the screen.

Step 45: Click on Add Modifier to add it.

The shape will be smooth even more.

Step 46: You can change the views and render.

It would take longer to actually render if you made it higher.

Step 47: Press 5 if you want to change your perspective.

If you have a scroll wheel, use it to zoom out.

Step 48: You can place the scruple below your glass.

The next part of the image will be added here.

Step 49: You can add mesh and plane.

There is a plane below your wine glass.

Step 50: Press S to scale the plane and make it bigger.

It's like the size of a table.

Step 51: Click on the material icon if the plane is still selected.

It should still be selected.

Step 52: You can use the diffuse BSDF option to pick a color that is similar to the one in the picture.

Step 53: You should add another plane to your light source.

Click your camera to place the cursor.You can add mesh and plane.If you want a reflective surface for your glass and light source, press R to rotate the plane.The image is "Blender-reflector-light-source."It should look similar to what you see.

Step 54: Go to the material section if the plane is still selected.

Pick Emission for the material.Enter 10 for strength.

You want to look at the wine glass from a different perspective.

Step 57: You should change your properties if you need to adjust your view.

You can go to View to see the properties.There is a camera next to the Lock Camera.If you need to move your glass, make sure it's selected, then hold down the shift key and your scroll wheel, and move the glass.The scroll wheel can be used to zoom in and out.

Step 58: Save your work if you haven't done this yet.

Step 59: Press Shift D to duplicate the wine glass.

The new wine glass will be on top of the old one.

Step 60: Move it to keep it in line with the original wine glass.

If you press X, it will move on the X axis.

Step 61: Move your wine glasses so that they are in the correct position.

Step 62: When you're done with the properties, go back to View and close the dialog box.

Step 63: Look at your progress.

Click the camera icon on the right to see the image.It shouldn't take very long because it's set at a minimal number.This is what it looks like right now.

Step 64: The Integrator section can be found on the right of your screen.

Click on the arrow if it is collapsed.

Step 65: If you like what you see, watch your render.

Press ESC if not.Press the ESC again and then press zero.The view will be turned away from the camera.

Step 66: Click on the plane that emits the light.

Instead of 10, change it to 15 or 20.

Step 67: If you don't have the look you want, go back to rendering your glasses.

Step 68: It should be saved.

You should save a graphic version of your file.Press F3 when you hover your mouse over your image.You are done if you choose your format type and name.There is a smallUrl and a bigUrl on the website.
