There are lots of ways to make face cream at home, whether you want to live more frugally or lead a more organic lifestyle.Not only does homemade face cream cost a lot less than what you'd get in a store, but you can control exactly what goes inside.It's easy to make face cream at home if you know the basics.
Step 1: Put the first four ingredients in a jar or cup.
You will need 1 cup (60 liters) of almond oil, 2 cups of coconut oil and a cup of shea butter.Don't use the essential oil and the vitamins for now.
Step 2: The water should be put in a pot.
Put 3 to 4 inches (7.62 to 10.16 centimeters) of water in a pot.Bring the water to a boil in the pot.
Step 3: The jar should be placed into the water.
Add the oils, butter, and shea butter to the jar and put it in the pot.Stirring occasionally, leave the jar in the pot.Don't put anything in the pot or jar.
Step 4: Put the jar out of the water and add the oil.
To remove the jar from the water, use a pot holder or an oven mitt.Put it on a heat-safe surface.Let it cool for a while, then stir in 12 of the oil.If you pierce the capsule first, you'll be able to measure out the oil in a bottle.
Step 5: Add in 2 to 3 drops of essential oil.
There are many types of essential oil you can use.Start with 2 to 3 drops.You can get a nice smell from the essential oil on your face cream.There are some types of essential oil that have skin care benefits.
Step 6: Let the mixture cool and harden, then transfer it to a clean jar.
The cream should be poured into a glass jar with a wide mouth.The cream can be cooled and hardened at room temperature.
Step 7: After closing the jar, store it in a dry place.
It is safe to use in the evenings and mornings.It will last about 3 months.
Step 8: In the double-boiler, place your oils and beeswax.
Place a heat-safe glass bowl on top of the saucepan with 2 inches of water.Add 1 cup of coconut oil, 2 cups of jojoba oil and 21 grams of beeswax.Don't use the essential oil or theAloe Vera for now.
Step 9: You can melt the oils and beeswax.
Allow the water to come to a boil by turning the heat up to medium.Stirring occasionally, let the oils and beeswax melt.Once they turn liquid and translucent, you are ready.
Step 10: Allow the mixture to cool for 1 to 112 hours.
Make sure your blender can handle heat.If your blender is plastic, first cool the mixture, then use a spatula to blend it.You can use a food processor if you don't have a blender.
Step 11: Slowly adding the gel.
The blender needs to be turned onto a low speed setting.While it is turning, pour a cup of gel into it.When the blender is paused, use a rubber spatula to smooth the sides.Use a natural gel.Don't use homemade gel.
Step 12: Drop 5 to 8 drops of essential oil.
This will give the cream a nice scent.You could benefit from using the right type of essential oil.Dry or aging skin can include lavender, palmarosa, rose, and rose geranium.
Step 13: Transfer everything to a clean glass jar.
When it is light and fluffy, blend the mixture or whip it by hand.The rubber spatula can be used to transfer it into jars.The bet would be on jars of 12 ounce or less.
Step 14: The jars should be in the fridge.
You can keep one jar in your bathroom, but the rest should be kept in the fridge.The cream can be used within 3 to 4 months.
Step 15: The wax and oils should be in the double boiler.
Put 2 inches of water in a pot.Place a heat-safe glass bowl on top and add the following ingredients.
Step 16: The heat should be turned up to medium so that everything can melt occasionally.
The ingredients will start to turn clear as they melt.When the color is translucent and no clumps remain, they are ready.
Step 17: Put the tea in the mixture and let it steep.
Remove the bowl from the pot and place it on a heat-safe surface.Green tea can be added to the melted oil and beeswax mixture.The tea should be steep for 15 minutes.If you keep the tea in the bag, you can pour the loose leaves into the mixture.
Step 18: When it is creamy, blend the mixture.
You can use a hand mixer or a food processor.The mixture will turn room-temperature and creamy.If you add loose-leaf tea to the mixture, make sure to sieve it through a fine mesh sieve.
Step 19: Let it cool in the glass jar.
There is an 8-ounce jar with a wide mouth.The mixture should be transferred into the jar with a rubber spatula.Next, close the jar and let the mixture cool down further.
Step 20: The jar should be kept in a dry place.
It's great to use in the mornings and evenings.It can be used within 3 months.
