How To Make Fly Paper With Golden Syrup
Flypaper can be made at home using a pantry item, golden syrup.Try sticky syrups in your pantry if you can't get golden syrup.
Step 1: In a saucepan, mix together equal parts of sugar, water and golden syrup.
Step 2: Bring the water to the boil.
Continue to stir until it becomes thick.Don't let the mixture get too hot.Don't let the smoke affect you.
Step 3: The mixture should be left to cool.
Step 4: Cut long strips of packing tape.
They should be put into the mixture.
Step 5: To catch drips, hang over a wire cooling rack with newspaper underneath.
Leave to dry.
Step 6: Attach some string at the top of the hole.
Step 7: Flypaper can be hung over windows and near doorways.
Step 8: The sticky syrup will attract a lot of flies.
