When you have half of the mixture left in the pan, pour it out slowly.Use a spatula to smooth the surface.
Step 5: Pour the rest of the mixture on top of a flat layer of crackers.
Carefully place another layer of crackers on top of the mixture, breaking them in half and rearranging them as needed. The last part of the mixture should be poured on top. When the surface is flat, smooth it out with your spatula.
Step 6: A third layer of crackers is placed on top.
Use up the rest of your crackers because this will be the last layer. If you have any left, put them in a bag and use it again.
Step 7: Put the peanut butter and chocolate chips in the saucepan.
The peanut butter and chocolate chips should be put in a small pan.The mixture should be spreadable but still thick if you melt it over high heat. The chocolate shouldn't burn if you stir constantly. For bars with a bit of caramel flavor, you can mix in a 12 cup of butterscotch chips.
Step 8: Spread the chocolate over the crackers.
You can spread your chocolate mixture with a spatula, spoon, or knife.Use all of your chocolate mixture to make a nice thick layer. The top layer of the bars will allow you to make designs in the chocolate.Don't get too attached to your design, because you'll be cutting the bars up eventually.
Step 9: The pan should be refrigerated for 2 hours.
Wait until the chocolate reaches room temperature, then place the pan in the refrigerator.Place your hand close to the surface to feel the heat coming off of the pan.If you don't feel anything, you can put it in the fridge.
Step 10: Cut into small bars.
You can slice out small bars with a knife. You can make them look like Kitkats or cut out squares for convenience.Enjoy your chocolate treat chilled or at room temperature.Kitkat bars can be kept in the refrigerator for 2 weeks. To maintain freshness, keep them in a container.
Step 11: There is a layer of crackers in the pan.
Line the bottom of a baking pan with a single layer of crackers. It should be filled all the way to the edges.Break a few of the crackers if it doesn't fit perfectly.
Step 12: The butter should be in the saucepan.
Place your butter in a large saucepan and heat it up on the stove.Use a wooden spoon to stir the butter around.
Step 13: Bring the milk, sugar, and crumbs to a boil.
Milk, brown sugar, and graham cracker crumbs should be poured into the same saucepan.Bring the ingredients and butter to a boil. You should boil it for another 5 minutes.

To pour the mixture over the crackers, tilt the pan and use a spoon to slowly pour it.To smooth out the layer, use a spoon or spatula.
Step 15: Pour the rest of the mixture on top of another flat layer of crackers.
Pour the rest of the mixture on top after placing another layer of crackers in the pan.If you want to flatten it out again, use a spoon or spatula.
Step 16: The third layer of crackers should be placed on top.
The last layer of crackers should be on the top.To make an even layer, break them apart and arrange them in such a way that they reach all the edges of the pan.If you don't use up all of your crackers, zip them up in a bag to use for another snack or dish.
Step 17: The microwave should be set to 50 percent.
If your microwave is strong, you can melt white chocolate in the microwave. If you want to avoid burning white chocolate chips, use the owner's manual to set your microwave to half power. If you can't figure out how to lower the power in the microwave, put your chocolate in at shorter intervals and stir vigorously.
Step 18: White chocolate chips can be microwaved for 30 seconds.
White chocolate chips can be put into a bowl.Pull the bowl out after 30 seconds and stir it around a bit.Continue stirring and microwaving until the chocolate starts to melt.It is important to use a microwave-safe bowl made of glass, ceramic, or paper.Never microwave in a plastic container, aluminum foil or a bowl with metallic paint or trim.
Step 19: For a nutty flavor, add peanut butter.
Adding 12 cup of peanut butter to your almost-melted white chocolate will give it a thicker, richer flavor. The mixture should be microwaved for one last 30 seconds.Let the chocolate melt in the air.The chocolate should be thick and smooth. If you want your homemade Kitkats to be pure white, leave it out because peanut butter makes chocolate creamy.
Step 20: Food coloring can be added to make colored Kitkats.
You can add food coloring to the white chocolate to make Kit Kats more colorful. If the color is not bright enough, add more food coloring.Depending on the occasion, you could choose different Kitkat colors. You could make pink or red Kitkats or black and orange bars for Halloween. You can make a different color for each half of the pan if you separate the white chocolate into 2 containers.
Step 21: Spread the chocolate over the crackers.
Once your chocolate mixture is melted and stirred, spoon it onto the cracker pan and spread it into a neat layer. To smooth it out, use the flat of your knife or spatula.
Step 22: After cooling the bars, put them in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
Wait until the temperature in the pan drops.Place the pan in the fridge if you don't feel any heat when you put your hand near the top chocolate layer.Allow your bars to set for two hours.
