Step 1: Divide the fruit into equal halves.
Step 2: The fruit should be put into a container with a handful of salt and a small amount ofTurmeric powder.
Leave the mixture for 3 days.Excess liquid will be drained from the fruit.
Step 3: On day three, throw away excess liquid that accumulated at the bottom of the container.
Step 4: Allow fruit to be left aside for later use.
Step 5: Dissolve sugar in water.
Most of the sugar should be in the mix.
Step 6: Allow it to come to a boil by placing it into a pot.
Step 7: Add cinnamon, cloves, saffron, and cardamom to the water.
Step 8: Continue until the syrup starts to form.
Step 9: Remove the syrup from the stove.
Step 10: Do not allow the syrup to get too thick.
Remove before this process takes place.
Step 11: Allow syrup to cool.
Step 12: Add chili and turmeric to kumquats.
Step 13: Add mustard powder and kumquats to water.
