You can use a double boiler to make lemon oil.You can use a regular pot if you don't.Set the temperature to high by filling the pot halfway up with water on the stove.Wait for bubbles to break the surface of the water and then turn the temperature to the lowest setting on your stove.If you use a regular pot, leave enough room in it to fit a bowl.The water should stop boiling once you turn the temperature down.If you want to not boil your lemon oil, you need to turn the stove to the lowest temperature setting.
Step 4: There is a lemon peel and a cup of coconut oil in the bowl.
If you use a double boiler, pour the coconut oil and lemon peel into the boiler top.Put the oil in a bowl that is small enough to fit in the pot.grapeseed and sweet almond oil can be used instead of coconut oil.
Step 5: The bowl should be placed in the pot of water for a few hours.
Slowly lower the bowl into the hot water.The lemon oil should not boil.If you burn your hands, wear a pair of oven mitts.The coconut oil will be infused with the natural oils from the lemon peel.
Step 6: Allow the oil to cool for a couple of hours.
When touching the hot bowl, wear a pair of oven mitt.Remove the bowl from the water by turning the stove off.You can cover the oil on the countertop with aluminum foil or plastic wrap.Wait until the oil cools before moving on.
Step 7: The oil can be put into a jar.
Lemon oil can be strained and lemon peel separated from the oil.If you have done everything right, the natural oils in the lemon should be infused with the oil you used.If you want to increase the longevity of your lemon oil, use a jar that has an airtight lid.
Step 8: The jar should be kept in a cool area.
The lemon oil can be kept in a dark area.The lemon oil can be kept for up to a month.
Step 9: There are lemons under cold water.

Step 10: Remove the peel and put it in a jar.

The jar should hold 1 cup of grapeseed, sweet almond, or coconut oil.The oil should cover the peel on the jar.To shake the solution, screw the lid onto the jar.
Step 12: Shake the jar on the windowsill once a day for 2 weeks.
You can mix lemon oil, coconut, grapeseed, or almond oil in a jar.You can add the oil from the lemon to the jar.The oils will be infused with low heat from the sun.
Step 13: The peel from the oil needs to be separated.
Pour the oil into a strainer.The infused oils will be separate from the lemon peels.After you've strained the lemons, throw the peels in the trash.
Step 14: For a month, store the oil in a dark place.
Store the oil in a jar in the fridge or cabinet.You can use the oils to clean or care for your skin.
