The Taskbar is a horizontal black bar at the bottom of your Windows 10 desktop.A single click or tap on one of these program icons will open the program.If you use a program or an app frequently, you can put it in the Taskbar.The program can be launched with a single click or tap from the Windows 10 Taskbar.
Step 1: To pin, select the program or app.
You can click and hold the desktop shortcut.
Step 2: You can drag the program towards the Taskbar.
You should see the "Pin to Taskbar" option after a while.
Step 3: Drop the program or app into the Taskbar.
The program icon is pinned to the Taskbar for easy access.
Step 4: You can start by clicking the Start button.
You can find it at the bottom of your desktop.The Start menu can be opened by clicking it.
Step 5: Pick the program you want to pin.
If the program you want isn't on the Most Used list or Recently Added list, you can find it at the bottom of the Start menu.A directory tree with an alphabetical list of all available programs can be found when you click on "All apps".
Step 6: Press and hold to get the program you want.
If the app is already set up as a tile, you can choose to pin to start, unpin from start and uninstall.
Step 7: Take a peek over More.
Step 8: From the context menu, choose "Pin to taskbar".
The program's icon will appear in the Taskbar.Clicking the pinned icon on the Taskbar will launch the program quickly.
Step 9: You can open file explorer.
The File Explorer icon is pinned to the Taskbar.You can click/tap the Start button to open the menu, and then click on the "File Explorer" in the left pane.
Step 10: You can find the program by navigating the directory tree.
The directory tree of the C: drive can be expanded by clicking.To see the list of programs or program folders, locate and click/tap the program files folder.
Step 11: Press and hold to get the program you want.
There will be a context menu next to the program/app name.
Step 12: The program should be put in the Taskbar.
The option to pin to the taskbar is on the long list of options in the context menu.The program will be pinned to the Taskbar.
Step 13: You can open the file explorer.
Click/tap on the icon to open the "File Explorer" window if it is pinned to the Taskbar.Alternatively, you can click the Start button to open the menu and then click/tap "File Explorer" in the left pane.
Step 14: The program needs to be pinned.
There is a directory tree at the left side of the file explorer window.Click/tap the arrow beside the C to expand the directory.Click/tap the "Program Files" folder if you want to look for it.You will see a list of programs on the right side of the window when you do this.Click to open the program folder you want.
Step 15: The application tools/manage tab is where you can open it.
The application tools/manage tab will appear when you click/tap the program you want.A contextual tab is only visible when specific options are available.Click/tap the application tools tab.
Step 16: The program should be pinned to the Taskbar.
Three tiles or buttons appear on the ribbon when you click/tap the "Application tools/Manage" tab.The pin to taskbar button is on the leftmost side of the ribbon.The program icon will appear on the Taskbar if you click/tap the pin button.
Step 17: If you want to pin the program to the Taskbar, run it.
When you close the program or app, the icon on the Taskbar will disappear.
Step 18: The icon of the running program is on the Taskbar.
There will be an options menu.The actions you can take with the open program or app will be listed.
Step 19: The program should be pinned to the taskbar.
The program can be pinned to the Taskbar even after it is closed.
