Step 3: The edges and corners of the rocks need to be smoothed out.

To round out the edges of the rocks, start with coarse-grained sandpaper. The rocks should be sanded until they are smooth.Depending on how hard your rocks are, it could take a few minutes to create a smooth surface. If the rocks start to get wet, dunk them in the bucket of water.

Step 4: The rocks have scratches that need to be removed with 150-grit sandpaper.

After buffing out the rough exterior of the rocks, switch to a fine grain and focus on any deep scratches on the surface. To buff them out evenly, use softer, circular motions. The greater the shine, the better the rock is.

Step 5: If you have light scratches, buff them out with 600-grit sandpaper.

Small particles of rock can be caused by grinding and polishing.Dust and rock particles can hurt your eyes.If the drill slips, gloves will protect your hands.A thick and sturdy type of glove is leather, puncture- resistant, or heavy fabric gloves.Thin rubber gloves won't protect your hands.

Step 7: Attach the attachment to the tool.

There are a lot of ways you can use the tool. The attachment for sanding is designed for grinding and smoothing rocks.Attach the attachment to the opening at the end of the tool.Don't use a drill bit or other type of attachment to grind or polish rocks because it could cause a large fragment to fly off and hurt someone.

Step 8: The rock should be placed in a spring.

If you want to prevent the rock from slipping when you grind it with the tool, you need to secure it.It is possible to grip the rock without crushing it.Make sure the rock is secure in the clamp by putting it in it.The rock could be cracked or broken if the clamp is too tight.

Step 9: The rock must be grinded with the top half of the sanding bit.

If you want to prevent scratches in the rock, grind the entire surface with the top half of the sanding bit. When you sanded the surface, adjust and move the rock so you can cover any areas that you missed.

The polish needs to be completely dry to adhere to the rocks. You can buff them until they shine if they are not damp.If you washed the rocks recently, you should allow them to air dry for at least an hour.

Step 11: Rub the rocks with denim fabric.

If you want to create a smooth surface and bring out the natural shine of the rocks, use a sturdy piece of denim fabric. The best way to polish rocks is with a piece of soft cloth. You can use 600-grit sandpaper to polish your rocks if you don't have denim.

Step 12: Stone polish should be applied to the rocks.

Commercial rockpolish can be used to create a shiny coating on the rocks. There is plenty to cover all of it if you add a few drops to a rock.Any excess polish will be washed away by the denim fabric.
