How To Reassemble Your Fat PS3

It's easy to take something apart but it can be hard to put it back together.If you've torn apart your PS3 to try to fix the yellow light of death or replace the battery, you now need to reassemble it.Beginners, intermediate and expert users can perform the steps.

Step 1: The heat sink board has a fan on it.

Step 2: The processor and graphics card should be grabbed.

When you put it on, the parts will fall into place.

Step 3: The cable should be from the fan.

Plug it into the small white part on the bottom part of the green board.

Step 4: The cover plate is gray.

The top of the gray cover plate has two tongs sitting on it.

Step 5: The PS3 has a green board and gray coverboard.

Put it in the bottom of the PS3 so that the hard drive slot is on the left side.

Step 6: Use the small screws to screw down the gray cover board.

The board has arrows pointing to where you should put the screws.

Step 7: The gray cover board has two tongues on it.

Step 8: Take the CD drive with you.

Take the ribbon from the bottom of the PS3 and put it on the right side.Pull the black chip up and make sure that the legs of the CD drive are in line with the gray coverboard.

Step 9: Attach the cord from the CD drive to the white part of the board.

Step 10: The power supply needs to be grabbed.

Plug the power supply cord into the white part of the board and put the gold sticks on top of it.

Step 11: The power supply should be screwed down with 5 small screws.

Four should be in front and two in the back.

Step 12: Put the device back on its stand.

You will have to use three small screws to put it back on.

Step 13: The back of the PS3 needs to be put back on.

Plug the cord into the back of the power supply and sit the part on the system.

Step 14: The top part of the PS3.

If you put it on the top, there will be arrows pointing to where you should screw it down.There will be six tall screws.The arrow has an S above it.

Step 15: The cover of the PS3.

Take that back to the top.

Step 16: Put the hard drive back in.

Use three small screws to put it back in the slot.You're all set!
