You can restore access to your Yahoo account using a backup email address or a recovery phone number.You will not be able to recover your account if you do not have a recovery email or phone number.
Step 1: In a web browser, go to https://login.Yahoo.com.
You can recover your Yahoo account by sending a confirmation code to your backup email or phone number.To restore your account, you must have access to your recovery email or phone number.You can speak with someone from Yahoo's support team for a small fee if you can't access those accounts.Click near the top-right corner of the page to log in.Your account may have been deleted from Yahoo's server if you haven't signed into it in over a year.
Step 2: Click Continue if you want to enter your Yahoo email address.
Enter your recovery phone number or email address if you don't remember.
Step 3: If you have a backup address or phone number, review it.
The phone number will be partially displayed.Click if you have access to the address or phone number.Click if you don't want to see another option.You'll see a message if you don't have access to any of the backup options.Click if you want to try again with a different email or phone number.To confirm the number is yours, you may be asked to enter two missing digits.If that is the case, enter the correct digits in the blue section.
Step 4: The verification code is in the message.
If you selected an email for recovery, open that address's inbox and open the message from Yahoo.You'll get a text message with the code if you enter a phone number.If you don't see a message from Yahoo in your inbox, it may be in a folder.
Step 5: Click Continue if you enter the verification code.
Your account is recovered.Since you don't have access to your old password, you'll be able to create a new one now.
Step 6: Click to create a new password.
Step 7: On both lines, type your new password.
You need to type it the same way both times.
Step 8: Click on Continue.
You have a new password and need to log into your account.You have the option to change your recovery options once you sign back in.You can add or remove recovery accounts by following the instructions on the screen.
