How to repair a hole in a kiddie pool.
There are two types of leaks in a kiddie pool, a hole in the side and one that allows water to leak out.The second type is a hole in the side that causes the pool to deflate. Both types of leak are repaired the same way.You can use almost any type of repair kit for a hole in a kiddie pool.
Cut a larger patch than the hole will need to be repaired.A circular patch is more durable than a square or rectangular patch that can peel up over time.
Rub the area around the hole with an alcohol swab to remove dirt and grease that could interfere with the rubber cement bonding.
The pool should be inflated as much as possible. The patch isn't as effective when the pool is deflated. If some air escapes before the patch is applied, it's fine.Non-inflatable kiddie pools are not covered by the step.
Place the patch on the rubber cement to make sure it is waterproof.
