You can learn how to reset your Civic ID using the Civic mobile app.
Step 1: You can open the Civic app.
The green app has a white "C" and "Keyhole" icon in the center.
Step 2: The Civic app can be unlocked.
If you want to use the app, you have to enter your password or use your fingerprints.
Step 3: Contact support can be tapped.
It's in the middle of the screen.This will prompt to create a new email for Civic's technical support.Pick the email app you use to compose emails on your phone if you are prompted to do so.
Step 4: Explain to me that I need to reset my Civic ID.
In the subject of the email, you can write "please reset my Civic ID" and explain why.
Step 5: Provide your full phone number and email address.
This is the email address and phone number that you used to create your Civic account.
Step 6: Send the email.
A Civic representative will contact you with further information after you receive an email confirmation that your support request was received.
Step 7: Wait for a confirmation.
When your Civic ID has been reset, you should be notified.You may be contacted by a Civic support representative to get more information.In resolving your issue, always be helpful and courteous.
