You don't have to plug it in to iTunes to restore your phone from iCloud.If you want to restore from a previous backup, you'll need to erase all of your data and settings.
Step 1: It's a good idea to back up your phone to the cloud.
If you back up your data before you erase it, it will be as up to date as possible when you restore it.You can erase your phone after this process is completed.You will need to uninstall "Find My iPhone" before you can restore from a backup.
Step 2: Make sure your software is up to date.
You won't be able to restore from iCloud if you're not running the latest version of Apple's mobile operating system.To check for an update, open your settings app.Go to the "General" tab.The "Software Update" option is available.If there is an update available, you can download and install it.
Step 3: Go to the "General" tab.
If you had to update, you'll need to open the settings again.
Step 4: The "Reset" option is available.
This will be at the bottom of the menu.
Step 5: "Erase all settings and content" is what you'll be asked to do.
If you have a password for your phone, you need to enter it to continue.
Step 6: "Erase iPhone" is what you can do.
This is at the bottom of the screen and will start the erase process.
Step 7: Wait for the reset on your phone.
Once it's done, you can begin restoring your phone.
Step 8: The "Slide tounlock" text is on your phone's screen.
This will be the beginning of the setup process.
Step 9: On the next screen, tap your preferred language.
Your phone's default language will be set by this.
Step 10: You can tap your preferred region.
On the "Select Your Country or Region" screen, you can set your phone's default location.
Step 11: You can choose a network to use.
You can skip this step as well.
Step 12: The "Activation Lock" screen will prompt you to enter your Apple ID and password.
You used to set up your phone with the same credentials.To continue, you'll have to tap "Next".If you have changed your Apple ID password, use that password instead.
Step 13: Do you want to enable or disabling location services?
If you don't know which one to choose, you can turn off location services at the bottom of your screen.
Step 14: If you want to confirm it, enter it again.
If you wish, you can do this later.
Step 15: The "Apps and Data" screen has a "Restore from iCloud Backup" option on it.
The restoration process will begin with this.
Step 16: You need to enter your Apple ID and password again.
This is to make sure that there are iCloud backup files.
Step 17: To continue, tap "Agree".
If you tap "Agree" in the lower right corner of your screen, you will be able to choose an iCloud backup date.
Step 18: To start the backup process, tap your preferred date.
It will take several minutes for a restoration from iCloud.
Step 19: Wait for your phone to be restored.
It may take several minutes.
Step 20: When prompted, enter your Apple ID password.
This will allow you to restore your phone and data.You will need to wait an additional amount of time to allow your phone's apps to update and resume their pre-erase status.
