Did you have the same mascara on for a while? Is it worried that it will be unsanitary at this point? There is a way to clean your mascara wand.
Step 1: Rub alcohol on a sheet of paper towel.
The paper towel's fibers are strong and can be swiped with a mascara wand. There is a possibility that this is not the case.Once saturated, the tissue will tear and the loose fibres will cling to the wand/spoolie, which is not suitable for this method.Standard rubbing alcohol solution should have 70% alcohol by volume. It is incorrect to think that a more concentrated alcohol solution such as a 90% or 99% will have stronger antibacterial properties.Alcohol is not an effective antibacterial agent, but when properly allowed to evaporate, it has an antibacterial effect because it dries out the cells. The solution can get and still penetrate the cell wall, but 70% alcohol is as concentrated as possible. The time it takes to dry out the cell increases if the alcohol is too concentrated.
Step 2: The first coat of mascara should be applied to your lashes.
Step 3: The paper towel has alcohol in it.
Step 4: The mascara tube needs to be replaced before the wand can be dried.
When allowed to adequately dry out after application, rubbing alcohol may be an effective antibacterial step to help control bacterial growth on the spoolie before it is replaced in the mascara tube.Hypothetically, this should be an effective way to help minimize the spread of eye infections that are caused by sharing mascara. If rubbing alcohol is used to help controlbacteria, it will only work if the surface has been allowed to adequately dry after application of the alcohol, which should only take 1 to several minutes.
Step 5: After each application of mascara, repeat the process.
Step 6: Cleaning is not a substitute for using fresh, germ-free cosmetics.
It is best to only use fresh mascara and never share it with others.A bad eye infection can cost a lot more than a new tube of mascara.
