Internet Explorer stores passwords for sites you sign into.Signing back into those sites will be much quicker since you won't have to enter your password.
Step 1: Go to internet explorer.
The Internet Explorer app icon resembles a light-blue "e" with a yellow band around it.
Step 2: Click on the icon.
There is a window in the upper-right side.There is a drop-down menu.
Step 3: You can click on internet options.
The option is at the bottom of the menu.The Internet Options pop-up window is opened by Clicking it.
Step 4: You can click on the Content tab.
The Internet Options window has it at the top.
Step 5: Click on the settings you want to modify.
There is a button in the middle of the page.Don't click the button below the "Feeds and Web Slices" heading because it opens a different settings menu.
Step 6: The "Usernames and passwords on forms" box needs to be checked.
There is an option in the middle of the window.
Step 7: The box says "Ask me before saving passwords."
It is near the bottom of the window.
Step 8: Click OK.
This is at the bottom of the window.
Step 9: Click OK if you don't want to.
The Internet Options window has it at the bottom.Doing so applies your changes.
Step 10: Go to the website.
Go to a site for which you need to sign in, then enter your login information and press Enter.
Step 11: When prompted, click yes.
If Internet Explorer saves your password, you can add it to the list of saved passwords.Passwords won't be saved for every site you visit.If you do not see a pop-up asking if you want Internet Explorer to save your password, the site won't allow it.
